Can connect to network, but not to internet

Would be most grateful for suggestions regarding this.

My colleague came back in this morning from holiday, and she can't connect to the internet (and thus can't receive e-mails). Nobody has used her computer since she's been away and no settings have been changed on the server.
She can connect to the LAN network though and access network files etc as normal, so I'm thinking that for some reason the server is preventing her from accessing the internet. All the network settings appear to be correct on her machine (including DNS, DHCP server settings & her IP address is fine).
Is there somewhere on windows server 2003 which manages internet connections or something? Why is she suddenly not able to access the web when nothing has been touched? I tried changing the cable and plugging in to a different socket, but no luck.

Would be very grateful for any help, as this is driving me up the wall!

Powercycle everything especially the modem/router.

Thanks seems like rebooting the firewall box (soho 6) did the trick! - sometimes I feel like a right idiot when it's oh so simple lol!
