hello guys,
can anyone tell me what this error msg is??? i had it at start up and had to restart my pc, its a toshiba tecra 8000 laptop,
error msg as follows
and exception OE has occurred at 0028:00000009 in VXD--- this was called from 0028: C14F31D3 in VXD DRVWQ117(01)+0000E483 then it says it might be possible to continue normally, if anyone can tell me what that is and how to fix it it would be cool, thanks

It is a driver problem. Do you have the lastest drivers for your graphics and sound cards?

It may be a driver for Outlook Express looking at what you posted are you having any probs in that department. but the numbers look like a Memory problem of two programs trying to access the same area of memory

Right click on My Computer and go to properties click on Device Manager and look for yellow marks, this indicates a problem if you click on it

i cant see nay yellow marks in device manager at all against anything at all

You could run SFC if you have a full XP disc not a restore disc. also have you loaded any new hardware of late. To run SFC you can put the XP disc in comp, stop it auto loading then go to start\run and type SFC press enter

Seems strange that a Driver should act up if nothings been changed of late
