My computer keeps shutting down intermitantly. It runs for a half hour or more and then the screen goes blank although the hard drive appears to keep on running. If try to restart it will not but if I wait awhile it will start and run normally for a time and then crash again.I thought it was over heating it has crashed after 10 minutes and ran for hours.I have XP professional 100 gigs of hard disc,384 mgs RAM and 100mhz processor.

XP pro on 100mhz???? I think this may be the problem. I have seen XP on a 266 but I would imagine 100mhz is pushing it somewhat.
