can anybody tell me why,when windows xp starts up i get "nsis error" and when ive been playing dizzy just now through a spectrum emulator it kept flashing up?
any help would be gratefully appreciated.

When did this start and can you do a system restore to get rid of it then check any new instals as you go.

Does 'system restore' involve losing everything and starting back from the beginning? will it clean up my hard drive, or will the previous programmes still be clogging up the computer?

there is a suggestion on some other forum sites that the version of NSIS you have may be corrupt,
a download from an alternative site was suggested
as well as full virus scans
