Calibrate monitor???

Hi all
Wondered if you could help!!
I use a epsom c70 (with indivuidual Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black carts) however my prints seem to be a bit funny lately, the black seems somewhat dull, I have been creating DVD covers which have alot of black in them and when I view them in RGB mode in Photoshop they seem fine but when they are switched to CYMK they are the same coclur (dull) as my prints so im guessing my monitor needs calibrating, I have used the Adobe Gamma settings that comes with photoshop but the results dont seem to be great.

If anyone can give some guidance or help it would be very much appreciated.
Many Thanks.

Did you use the manual setup with Adobe Gamma... if not do so. You need to note the file name you save it as and apply this colour profile to the printer.
