Not sure if I understand correctly. I use Outlook 2003 and have inserted events into the calender with no problem.

When you open the calender it will always default to the current date.

Can you give more information or example of what you are attempting to do?

Example. Today is 2 march 04, if i click say on the 6 march 04 and add birthday etc when i save it, it gets saved in 2 march 04.
I even tried to add holidays and they all ended up in todays current date.

When I open my calendar it goes straight to todays date.

I clicked on April 1st and entered data, it saved it autmatically. I then clicked on todays date and then back to April 1st.

My entry stayed where it was entered.

You might need to reinstall the program if it plays up.
