I need to transfer contents of an IDE hard-drive to a Sata machine. I have been told I need a caddy!. I confess I have no idea what this is.
Would someone be kind enough to explain what I need and how to get it to work?.

Many thanks

This is a IDE caddy that you put your Hard Drive into. click here
The Jumper on your Drive as to be set to Master for it to work, you then just plug it into a USB port for it to load. Do not just pull it out when you have done as this can damage the drive. In lower Task Bard near clock you will see a Icon with a Green arrow right click on this to safely remove. If you have problems shutting it down, power your PC down then remove the plug before restarting PC
