I have the above installed for basic monitoring of memory and how much any one given program is using at any given time. I know that this is personal opinion but is there any reason for keeping this software loaded or does anyone know of a different monitoring tool which is free that I could use instead or should I not bother with this type of software at all? XP is pretty good at RAM management so I wouldn't bother with it.

Tune your system bylooking at, for example, click here and his comments re. services.

I used to use this for win 98 but not needed it so much for xp,mainly because i have upgrade my ram amount to 2gig with xp and 98 doesnt allow that much.

Thanks for the advise. Me thinks that it will no longer welcome on my system. J.B.
