Any one heard of this "cachelut" thing and any ideas how to get rid of it?

Enter it in Google, there is lots of info there.

It seems to be part of "Clientman" which is an Internet Explorer browser helper object. Try running a scan with Adaware and SpybotS&D. Detailed removal instructions (if you want to try it manually) are shown click here

Thanks to both of you. Maj, if it is a help object is ther any point in removing it? In one of the Google pages or somewhere I found that it is a remnant from Nero Media Player. What's correct?

A lot of programs will install Clientman, usually free download programs or free programs that come on disk. An Internet Explorer browser helper object is not always a good thing, a lot of them are installed as Spyware or browser hijackers. It's best to get rid.
