C drive has become invisible

Hi folks

Here's an odd one.

I have lost the My Computer link in the start menu, even though it is checked as a link in the advanced options for customise start menu. I tried to find my C drive in Windows Explorer and Device Manager but it has simply disappeared. Any ideas?

Thanks

Thanks VoG

I had already tried various permutations on the explorer.exe /n,/e,C: path in target and they were all wrong but your's has worked so at least I can see
my C drive in Explorer and that's a big relief. However it is still missing in device manager and I am still unable to get access to My Computer. Any futher advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again VoG you're a gem. I now have it back in the start menu but strangely still missing in the hardware profile. I'll go and do some more research
unless you have another magical quick fix.

Very grateful as always. Where would we be without you guys?
