bying a graphics card from america

hi

ive noticed tht computer parts are cheaper in america than other here!!!

if i buy a graphics card from america get it shipped to the UK will it be compatible, as i under stand they operate on different voltages?

Hi matt1234. Yes the card will be compatible, but look out for hidden costs such as import duty and taxes. You may also have problems if you need to return the card under warranty. I would be surprised if you can get the card cheaper than from a supplier such as Ebuyer click here.

Hi again matt1234. I just noticed the first part of your question. The only part of the computer that has a different voltage in the US is the mains into the power supply. Most computer power supplies either operate over a wide input voltage range such as 100 to 240V, or have a voltage switch, but check before you plug in.
