Buying RAM

  Hoseman 13:18 11 Dec 04

Im a complete novice when it comes to RAM but I currently have 512 and im looking to double it.

Ive been advised to buy 2 sets of 512 as I currently have 2 256s installed. The RAM I have is DDR2 56MB, 3200 speed so I was wondering if I should simply buy the same type? Or is there another type which is better? I dont want to buy sonething new which wont work so how do I check it will be OK with my current components?

Where is the best place to buy and are there any brands I should get?

Thx :)

VoG™'s recommendation is spot-on. Crucial is the best place to go for ram.
