Hi

My aunt would like to buy a printer for her laptop. I asked her what she would use it for and she said mainly office work and the occasional photo, so in short nothing to expensive.

I had a look on pc worlds website and found this,

Black ink is £11 and colour is £17 (tri colour)

So my question is is that an acceptable price for ink and the printer and is there any other reason to avoid this printer. If so could you recommend another.

Thanks Alan

On a quick look I could find no manufacturer of compatible ink cartridges for this printer and some of the Revo reviews indicated that the all in one colour cartridge runs out quite quickly.

Personally I would search further to see if you can find a printer with individual colour ink cartridges and also that has someone supplying compatible cartridges. I am biased towards Canon.

I had a look at the pc advisor review section

this seems to fit the bill, low price, cheap ink and not to fancy.
