Buying A Domain

I'm looking at two sites selling domains: GoDaddy.com will sell a dot.com for $7.95 p/a but recommend spending another $9.99 p/a to keep my personal details secret.

Registerfly.com want $9.99 p/a for a dot.com but want only $0.99 p/a to keep my personal details secret.

The simple sum means registerfly.com are $6.96 p/a cheaper. Do you think that's the decision made or are there other snags I've missed?
