Burning Musical CD's

After successfully burning a tune on a Memorex high speed CD-RW, I am able to play it on the computer and my DVD player but not on my CD player. Whats wrong?

Could be a couple of things -

The CD player may not recognise CD-RW disks - many will not.

what format is it burned in? If not wav, then maybe the CD player will not recognise it.

Some older CD players will not play RW discs.

Its quite an old player. What are the best disks to use?

CD-R should be OK.

What is WAV?

Has been working fine since I purchased the computer. Now when I close the program I get 3 error messages:

2. The instruction at 0x002000023 refered memory at 0x00a43c2e. The memory could not be written.

I have visited their web site with out luck. Have tried repair in windows installer. Any thoughts?
