Is it possible to burn your photos to a cd using
the VCD option and be able to play this on your DVD
Does it matter what format yor photos are eg jpeg
also could you burn it as a slide show ?

If using say Nero, all you need to do is drag any image file (jpeg, bmp, gif etc) into the browser to burn as VCD.

The only thing that would inhibit playing them on a DVD player is that your player must be able to play copied CD's. Some (like most Sony machines) are awkward for playing some CDs.

But if your player plays CDR's or CDRW's then no problem at all.

You can also buy some programs that will make a slideshow of images (with music etc) and then burn it to cd in VCD format. If you use just Nero you would simply press the Next button on your remote to browse the images.

Hope this helps.

Have a look at click here for dozens of articles on anything to do with CD-R/CD-RW media and rewriters.

Another good reference is click here

Probably because Sony is also a big music publisher...:-)

Hypocrisy as it not only does so but also sells hardware, via another of its divisions, that potentially allows you to copy that music...:-)

It depends if your DVD supports Photo CD
