burning image to cd-r help please

I have made an image of my hard drive using Acronis TrueImage and want to burn it to cd. The image is 1.5Gb in size and when I try to burn it I get the message that the media is not large enough to take the image how do I get the image to span to more than one disc. I am using Nero burning.

Does trueimage give you the option to save the image in manageable lumps, specifically for burning to CDR?

Why not use Acronis to write direct to CD-R, and automatically span multiple CDs?

Just choose Removable Media when you get to the Image Archive Location screen.

See the Help file for details.

I've just got TrueImage and have just took an image of my HDD after a format. If you use the same version as me TrueImage 6.0 you don't need to go into Nero, the program tells you when to put another disk in. TR

Thanks all I had another look at True Image and as suggested it allows you to burn the image straight to disk and spans the disks as necessary. It told me I needed 5 disks but it took 8 to complete the burn. So I should be all set the next time my system goes belly up. ;-)

You can also split the image on the HD (partition if necessary) into any size of file as well.I use the PCW cover disc version. David
