Obi One Kenobi (without the Force) 14:37 28 Jul 05

Hi, does anyone out there know how to burn DVDs. I have a few moves on my hard drive and wish to copy them to a DVD. Some of the movies are about 700meg divx format. However when I import these to Nero Vision Express 2, to start burning. It says, I have used 3GB plus on the 4.7 GB disk and it will take about 3 to 4 hours to burn. Surly this cannot be true, as

A)my DVD recorder is supposed to be very fast and

B)I’m not a computer wiz but I know megs are less then GB

I’m not sure what I am doing wrong. Do I need to convert the format to DVD first? If so is there any free software that will do this.

Can anyone help?

I have windows xp 2002

It has nothing to do with the burning

It is the encodeing of the DIVX movie to .VOB files that takes the time

Burning will take about 15 minutes, encoding a lot lot longer
