Burning downloaded music to CD - a beginners guide

Hi,

Bit new to all this - I have a new laptop and want to get involved downloading tracks and then burning onto CD. I have some CD-R discs and also Windows Media Player. I understand I'm ready to go but keep hearing about Nero and other such stuff. I really want to make CD's of the best possible quality - and also print covers etc... Is there any beginners advice, guides or sites?

Thanks

If you're talking about copyright music files and covers we aren't allowed to give advice on the Forum about this as its illegal. If its legal downloads and you just want to make up your own covers for it then Nero has a cover designer built in, you can use the templates or even create your own using pictures you have on the PC is you wish. Whatever you burn make sure you burn it as AUDIO, if you burn it as DATA you can get a lot more files on but it can only be read on specialist CD players that play MP3s. click here and click here
