Burning albums with nero etc

Hi to all,
Can anyone help..
When I download a full album and burn it onto a cdrw and play it back, the CD player seems to recognize it as one big track and does not allow me to skip from track to track?? why is this??
How do I go about putting gaps in the CD?? can you do it?..or will using just a cdr solve the problem...I have heard bad news about using cdrw.
Running xp..nero..real and media player..

You need something like LP Ripper (which I use) can be got from click here This will allow you to split into separate tracks and also get rid of any blank spots. You may also like to get LP Recorder from the same place.

Sorry, forgot to say split the tracks first before burning to CD.

Don't use CD-RWs for this type of purpose - their reflectivity level is only a fraction of a CD-R and these can also be burned at a higher speed.

Nero does have the ability to leave a gap between tracks and it is explained in the Help files...:-)
