I have used the one on my link to burn Ubuntu and it works fine.

Ive used imgburn today for linuxos 2007,and kubuntu in the past.
I burnt on lowest speed possible but i used a cdr,not dvd blank.
Not tried imgburn /or other burners to burn linux to dvd.could the media be the problem?

I use Nero, at the highest burn speed all the time to burn isos - including many and varied Linux ones.

It must be 200 or more CDs ago since I failed to burn a satisfactory CD.

Possible problem - faulty drive?
