Building online survery

Hi all,

Just building a survey that'll be published on an intranet site. I was wondering how i go about collecting the date and formatting into a report.

What software do i need to do this, something like MS Access? Or can Dreamweaver do all this for me with some fancy plugin or something?

Many thanks.

you'll be collecting, and what form it takes.

Frankly the best way to do the job for an intranet survey is to put all the data into an Excel spreadsheet. That way you can do the report in Word, and use Excel to generate the charts. Almost every office has a resident Excel specialist who can soon whiz up a few attractive charts.

Thanks that's great.

So I can do the charts and build the survery, but how do i get the data from the form to the excel chart?

That's the bit i don't know about.

to save the form results on the server in a csv (comma separated value) file that can easily be imported into an Excel spreadsheet - then you can do whatever you like with it.
