Buffer overrun

I am running the BBC climate change experiment when out of the blue I get an error code of Microsoft Visual C++ Buffer overrun and the climate experiment will not run or connect to the web.Does anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong and how do I get round the problem.Many thamks

Nobody seems to be answering. I'm no expert on this but the way I understand it buffer overruns are caused by one of two things, bad programming where the programmer inadvertently overwrites the contents of the buffer illegally, the is intentional were a hacker forces the contents of the buffer to be overwritten to execute their own code on a machine.

Make sure you have the latest version of the application, and make sure all your Windows updates are installed.

As I say, I'm no expert, but it will push your post to the top again.
