Buffalo Drive station problem - partitioning

Just bought a Buffalo drive station (external hard drive)and am unable to partition it using Partition Magic. It was as usual formatted to FAT32 but I used the inbuilt software that came with the drive to format to NTFS, but prior to that there was software that gave Turboboost(?) that I installed. When looking at the disc information it displayed for the Buffalo drive as being "Type 07" as opposed to NTFS and I am unable to create a another partition on it.
Any thoughts? As yet I have not contacted Buffalo about it.

Problem now solved. Just formatted it in NTFS from within Windows.
