BT Yahoo Messenger

Does anyone now how to stop Bt Yahoo Messenger from starting at log up. I am running XP home, and although it does not start up when I log in, on the other 3 users (2 administrator and 1 limited accounts) it either opens maximised or minimised in the bottom right hand corner. I have not found it in any of the start-up folders and cannot find any settings within the messenger itself.

All advise welcome. Thanks

on contact list at the top, click on Login > Preferences. In the General section at the top, take the tick out of Automatically start Yahoo messenger

This may be the answer?

You could try this:

run msconfig, open "startup", look for "ypager", and make sure that it is not ticked. If it is, untick it, then click apply, then OK.

Don`t know about BT Yahoo messenger, but it works on ordinary Yahoo messenger.
