The "search" facility on here is temp. out of order so I thoy I'd post this query.. A friend wants to go wireless on his BT dial-up broadband..He has a BT 105 modem, all working fine.. I bought an unlocked BT Voyager 2091 on Ebay..sold as working well...I put a Buffalo Airstation PCMCIA card in the laptop...The Airstation can "see" the router, green lights flashing on both units..but this is where I am getting stuck. I cant access the web!.. Do I have to configure the router using a network cable before I attempt to go wireless?? I have the cards and leads to be able to do this . When I put in 192.168.0.1 in address box ,it cant be found . Any ideas guys/gals.? Be gentle with me .

The best route is to get it working with the wired connection then go wireless.

One more question... does the Voyager 2091 need a driver?? Is so, where can I find it ?

The router homepage for the 2091 is 192.168.1.1
