Bt Voager Router & Netgear USB 2.0 Adapter Problem

I'd appreciate any help with this as it has me stumped.

I'm running a wireless network using a Bt Voyager Router, it has been working correctly with a BT Voyager usb adapter.

However i've had several of these adapters which keep breaking down. So i've gone for one form net gear.

Software oes onto the pc with no issues and the adapter picks up my network straight away. I put in the pass key but i get 'Limited or no connectivity'

Can anybody help me resolve this issue? is it a compatibility problem with the two being different brands?

Thank you in advance

Does it work if you disable encryption? Any MAC address filtering enabled on the router? Disable the Netgear software and use Windows' built in wireless management.
