I recently downloaded and installed Bt's Modem Protection software.
Now when I am on various sites, normally those of ISP's, such as Wanadoo, or MSN.com I get warning messages that the computer is trying to dial out to various numbers. Yhese numbers can be anythinh fro 2 to 12 figures and are not recognisable to me.
I always cancel them and do not give ermission. What are they are the dangerous or what ?.
I have uptodate antivirus (Avast), MS antispyware. plus AdAware, and Xsoft, and these all report a clean computer.

I don't know anything about Bt's Modem Protection software, but to prevent rogue diallers clocking up large bills I've heard that AntiDialler is very good click here
