Hi, I use OE for my mail, which since yesterday does not work, have tried it on 3 machines, any way, I tried BT,YAHOO.MAIL and I did send an email, so guess that is working, so I thought i would set that up and use it,is there a way just to transfer from OE to btyahoo. mail, I tried to set up an account, but of course it said that the log-in name I wanted was already taken,

You do not say who your ISP is but if it is BT you should be able to log in to Bt.Yahoo Mail using your existing email address and password and get you mail from the web.
If you have a different ISP, log on to BtYahoo and set up an account using a different address. You can then set the web mail to collect your OE (pop3) from the original account.

Hi, it is BT, all the accounts, all 8 of them are on the BT,YAHOO,MAIL site, but it said no mail, so I sent one from a gmail acount and it still said no mail, I sent one from btyahoo, and that went ok, whereas, I have tried sending one from BT OE and it will not send.

is there an easy way of making the BT yahoo the default mail handler

I think that BT only accept emails addressed to an mail account with BT.
