BT HomeHub problem

Dear all,

I don't know why but my internet connection/connection to hub just dies eveytime I start using Bitcomet. However, it doesn't die completely, Bitcomet is still able to download! I think it's something to do with DNS timed out?Or the Hub problem?

downloading can cause alot of traffic on your computer and internet, downloading large files especially can go over your allowed bandwidth, causing other programs to stop responding with the internet connection, i reccomend using a different program for the downloads as the settings on this program could be using up your connection

But I've used this application for years and it's been fine until I changed to BT HomeHub!!

Another thing is that after the connection died out..(Bitcomet still downloading)..

If I restart my PC, it can't find the Hub again! I have to switch the Hub off and then on again for a new connection.

Also, without restarting, it's also impossible to get the connection back without switching the Hub off and then back on.

The best suggestion, as andy8491 has stated, is to try and use a different client.

I use BitLord which works fine with my BT HomeHub.

Try it out and see if there is a difference.
