I have installed Win 7 and the above adaptor does not work - it did on Vista.

Help and/or advice appreciated.

If it worked in Vista but doesn't in Win 7, you will need to check whether updated drivers are available for 7. If drivers aren't available, you may have to replace the adapter with one which is compatible with 7.

Thanks. I've had BT try to resolve it and trhe Techie came to the same conclusion as you and I - the revised software for the 1055 has not yet been written and a new adaptor would have to be obtained.

I notice now that the existing software was written for XP. The BT Tech tried a Vista version - that didn't work either. I'm inclined to stick with the ethernet cable for a while - that is until I know of an adaptor which has been proven to work. Thanks again

I had been to that link, so did the BT Techie. Clealy neither of us followed the instructions properly. This time I did so and 'voila' it works!

Thanks Tosh
