BSOD - just had one

  christmascracker 19:01 01 Aug 04

message says "cmuda.sys page fault in nonpaged area".

I was playing a few video files at the time. Is this related to the page file or is it not that simple?

assuming you have an ECS K7S5A. board.
This is part of the sound driver files.

It's an MSI board with onboard sound.I've just had a look in device manager at the sound driver files and cmuda.dll is listed so you could well be right.

Specs are XP home, 3.2mhz P.4 with H/T, 1024 ram, 2 HDD (1x160, 1x80), Nvidia FX5900 gpu
