whilst browsing the net can someone help me with a setting i can change where as soon as i put the first letter in it brings up everything i have searched previous. This happens on my main search engine but not when there is a search bar within a web page IE, E-Bay. I have a normal PC which allows this but my laptop doeesn't. Both of these have the same Windows XP. This is frustrating me, nobody can help me at the big PC shop where i bought it from last week. Cheers.

Go to Tools on the menu bar and click on it. Then click on Internet options, and click on the 'Content' tab.

Now select the auto-complete section and tick the options you want.
