Browser Text Size

I've gone into IE today and the text size is a lot bigger than normal on all the web pages I've looked at. As far as I'm aware, I haven't done anything to change it. How do I get it back to 'normal'? I've done a few searches on this site but keep getting blank pages. Many thanks. Happy New Year!

Hi Andybear. Click on View at top of page and in the dropdown box scroll down to Text size and click on the size you prefer. For unknown reasons these sometimes change.

Further to Meshuga's advice, the Medium setting usually proves the most accurate.

Don't forget to check out Outlook Express as well if you use it, although it usually adopts the same font size as IE.

Tools>Options>Compose.

Thanks Meshuga. Done that, it's now fine. One for me to remember in future :0)

Glad to have been of help Andybear. I prefer the large myself.

struggle with text size.

Did you know that Mozilla Firefox will allow you to increase or decrease the text size on most web pages?
Unlike the Microsoft magnifier in Accessibilities, the whole page can be expanded as required.

Use Ctrl +

I wear glasses for normal reading, but I can read the smallest font size on this site without them.
