Browser problems

Afternoon All!
I have the latest version of ie and I'm running Windows XP Home with latest updates (as far as I know) but the past week or so ie has been randomley crashing and on certain websites I get messages about cookies, after clearing the cookies, internet files and history, the problem still persists. And after restarting the pc or switiching it on in the morning after it has been switched off for the night, the time and date always seems to change, this week it's 1.30AM on 1st Jan 2004, last week it was the year 2402. What's going on! Help please!

Maybe a new battery is needed.Or change the time.

check to see if you are in the right time zone,if so could be the cmos battery or virus,spyware.download update and run malwarebytes fromclick here

Thanks for helping me out.It was how to change the CMOS battery that was supposed to have shown.
