Hi all,

Cleaning up a customers PC at the moment. Removed a few spyware problems etc already.
In IE8 I am getting a redirect off Google search. I can't find where it is coming from.

I've carried out full scans with Malwarebytes, SuperAntispyware, A-Squared and Norton IS 2009. All of them are coming back clean.

I can't access any antivirus webpages either. Any ideas?

Try cwshredder, an old program but worth a scan.

Also try running Dr Web from a flash drive; click here

Thanks, but that didn't work, because....

Stupidly I'd forgotten to go back to basics! Reset the HOSTS file and everything is fine again.
