I am using IE8 which periodicaly crashes and re-boots, sometimes I can browse for a couple of hours with no problem then it happens frequently. Also happens sometimes when I close a window. Event views logs successive blocks of Service Control Manager 7000, 7001, 7023, 7026 occuring at each shutdown.
Any ideas please on how to slove problem?

try running internet explorer with no add ons to see if it crashes,if it doesn't re-enable them one by one till the culprit is found.

These Service Manager faults come up each time after TCIP6 has run.

Can anyone explain this please?

Correction it should read 'Event Viewer' logs successive blocks of Service Control Manager 7000, 7001, 7023, 7026 occuring at each shutdown.

These Service Control Manager faults come up each time after TCPIP6 has run.

It is therefore likely a TCPIP6 fault running in XP and is maybe a network connection problem.

Can anyone explain how to correct this please?
