I am about to go on broardband with ntl, they sugest usb or T Ethernet card card to conect I was wondering which is the best.

If your running a notebook and you have a network card fitted use it, the USB lead is in my opinion one of the worst design faults I've ever seen. It puts too much pressure on the USB port and slowly but surely moves the port until it will not work.

Well you could free up a port if you use the NIC. Theres also the argument that USB uses more resources than the NIC and is less stable.
