I am going to Canada to look after a relative for 2 months and wish to take my laptop. I have a BT broadband (silver) and swap bb for laptop when not using desktop. This works fine. Can someone tell me please what will happen when I want to access the Internet on the laptop in Canada. Will I have to do a fresh registration with my ISP (AOL). I will be residing in Mississauga with my sister who has Cable telephone. Thanks. Liza

Why not phone AOL and ask them there main office should be USA

AOL will be able to advise, as woodchip says.

AOL has local numbers for dial-up use pretty much anywhere in N.America. But that is an analogue method, whereas your sis' cable telephone line would be digital. Does she use the internet? If so you can piggy-back on her ISP's internet connection to use any WEB based email account you wish.
