I'm the knowledge person here where it comes to Broadband Suppliers allow me to help you where your question.
I wouldn't necessary go with Post Office Broadband 5gig is pants
With Kevscar Suggestion about Sky its only if you have Sky as LLU in your exchange, don't go to Sky Connect not very good.
Before we press on any further here, What Modem or Router do you have? I will then tell you on how you can get your Line Stats to see what speed you will be getting from your Phone Line.
Also can you post back what Samknows says what is available at your exchange?
Awaiting your Reply
Thanks for responses.
Rob, very grateful for your help...
I have just moved to this property. it is a 1st floor flat in a lock of 6. Skys cheapest options for me is about £37. which is not an option. I am looking for £20 or under if possible, or just over if i must...
So.. modem and router... i have a wireless ADSL Netgear router - a pretty decent one i think?
And i will be using my laptop - which has built in wireless - 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN.
samknows site is currently down i believe - so can not check.
Gladly will PM you my Postcode - if your knowledge will help me get the best package
