Broadband & Networking

I am interested in signing up for a broadband service but have a dilemma. I have 2 computers at home each in separate rooms in the house. I would like both computers to be able to utilise the broadband connection. As the computers are quite a distance between each other I do not really want to use cabling. However, I have heard of networking which uses FM frequencies or something similiar, to connect the computers together.

Firstly does anyone know where I can purchase such a device- and what is it called? Secondly would this setup actually work to use broadband on both computers and how would I go about doing it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
