broadband modem trouble

could anyone help me?
I have talktalk broadband, wired one. Yesterday I tried to connect a wireless router bt2091.It did not work as it said I needed a bt line or bt isp. Then i tried to connect my normal talktalk modem as normal, but now i am getting a flashing modem light and not getting connected. I think something wrong with the network connection.
Please help me!

If you are using XP - try a System Restore back to before you made any changes.

I did try that this morning but still the same.

When you first set up your talk-talk did you do it via the Network setup wizard? if so I would try that again. Or whichever way you set it up in the first place, try a repeat of the procedure. Just like re-installing something.

Grrreat, glad it was as simple as that, to contact t-t would have been my next suggestion.

Thanks for the feedback.
