is there a way i can connect 2 pc's to 1 b/band modem i am not interested in sharing connection i just want them both to access the net.would it work if i put software on both pc's or do i need to network them?

I thing you need to network them with an ethernet card in both machines and a length of crossover cable. All in cost about £35-40.

Which 'broadband' servive are you talking about - ADSL or Cable?

Which ISP do you use?

If you are thinking of unplugging one PC, and plugging the other into the same 'broadband' connection, you may as well network them - it's actually easier in some ways.

To network an ADSL connection, see click here - for Cable, see click here
