Broadband medic

Now that NTL has become Virgin,do I have any use for NTL broadband medic on my computer?I've never used it so don't know what it is.Is it save to delete it along with any other NTL folders?Thanks.

Even though your now part of Virgin Media, you will still be logging in using your NTL user name & password, as i do for Virgin.Net.
Keep it until advised not to.

If you ever cannot connect to the internet then Broadband Medic could possibly help you to find out if it is your computer, your set-top box (or modem) or the NTL System which is faulty.
Could be useful sometime.

I have used NTL/Virgin for several years and have never found Broadband Medic to be any use whatsoever. My advise would be to delete it and let your PC load up faster. Most problems with connections can be sorted by powering off the modem, power on and rebooting the PC ( that forces an IPA renewal - failing that, it's most likely your LAN cable )
