Broadband connection problem

Hi, we have a dell inspiron 6000, win XP. connected to BT Broadband via a BT voyager wireless router. the problem we have is that although it shows connected with a really good signal it often won't actually connect and gives us a 'not able to display page' type message on the browser and won't connect to retrieve e-mail. Then it will start working for a few minutes and then stop again. We have tried another laptop sitting next to it and that one works perfectly suggesting it is something to do with the Inspiron rather than the signal. Any ideas?

1. reconfigure your security password in the DEll

2. try changing the channel for the wireless card in both PCs
