Hello all

I am hoping this is a simple problem for the savvy ones out there

My broadband connection drops once I log off my laptop which means I have to go into my router setup page to manually connect each time I log back on.

I have a netgear wireless router. ANy suggestions how I can fix this so the laptop reconnects itself.

Thank you for your help

Start/Run/Regedit
navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Then right-click the right-hand pane, select New/String Value. Name the value KeepRasConnections and set it to 1.
