Help....

I've just moved to a new estate (new as being just built) NTL due to their debt problems aren't going to be providing cable for a while and after enquiring at BT was informed that although the exchange has fibre cabling they wouldn't upgrade it to provide Broadband.

Does that mean I will have to wait for BT ?

Are there any other alternatives

Nope. Put your name down and ask your neighbours to do the same. Also fax your MP on click here

But, BT Home Highway will give you two ISDN channels of 64k which will give you 128k, and two analogue lines. You can only use two of the four at once, though. Check with BT to see if you are within range for this service.
