Broadband Advice Please

  bgrave 20:26 16 Jan 09

A few months back a number of people were threatened with excommunication by their broadband supplier for hogging recourses by down loading large files; music & films etc neither of which interest me.
I am on Virgin Media Cable, standard connection. I have recently discovered iPlayer and BBC Listen Again, I listen to programs maybe for two hours or so, could I find my self in the same position

I can't be certain but as a VM cable customer myself I've found that those users, myself included at times, that download a lot of music or films at peak time are throttled back as can be seen from this link below.

I wouldn't worry about loosing your Broadband connection as a result of over excessive use, just enjoy programs.
