I've just changed from dial-up connection to Broadband but it seems like it's attracted lots of viruses too (or is it coincidence) I left my Broadband connected with Norton scanning and when I came back to it. There were casino games, etc flashing all over the screen and little game programs that installed themselves! I ran adaware which removed them but Is there anything in particular that I need now that maybe I didn't need when using a dial up connection.
I'm using firewall
Norton anti virus
ad aware
pop up stopper
Mailwasher and
I have all security updates installed from Microsoft.
