I have a two computers (98 and XP) connected to a router, with inturn connects to my NTL broad band. Now some days, it will work fine and there would be no problems what so ever, but over the last 3 to 4 days, i have lost connection all together. Now this i was sure, was dew to ntl. The router was registing a connection, but when ever i requested a web page, i only got the title back, and some times, only bits of the page. I was able to ping ntl and got a response.

Just got of the phone from NTL and my internet is working fine now that i have by passed the router. Which can only mean one thing. between the router and modem, something is going wrong. You see, the thing is, the router is taking its IP address from NTL, (as it should) and giving my two machines there ipaddress. So i can't work out whats wrong

So i can't get my head round the fact that it won't work now.

Any idears??
